So Much Rain

Sup yall hope your week was good! This week honestly was super lame and boring like I said last email we had zone confrence but other than that not much but I'll see what i can remeber Umm, but after zone conference we had a fire member dinner with the Larsons.  They made really good tacos with homemade fried bread soft shells and it's sooo good!  The Larsons are soo awesome.  Brother Larson helps us a ton with lessons and sister Larson feeds us and their kids are super awesome. On Thursday we had our weekly service at Feeding Brookings to help make food boxes for people.  At first, the day was just kinda cloudy and noting to crazy.  We went inside to help setup stuff and help bag some food then they needed our help outside.  And when I say it was raining it was RAINING!  Like holy crap literally never seen more rain in my life and we had to stand out in it all day.  I was soaked, but it was worth it to be able to help people in the community. I’m a Minnesota Missionary

Hey yall how's is going! This week was a pretty good week.  To start it off we had exchanges with our district leader who is in Marshall Minnesota so we went up there and it was awesome.   Now I've technically served in Minnesota and in the same state as Nick.  The exchange was fun, we knocked a lot of people and we helped one of their members move out of their house cause they were going to bulldoze the whole thing and rebuild.  They had sooooooooo many cats, like at least 20 I kid you not, it was crazy. This week we also had an awesome lesson with a guy named Bob who is friends with our friend Carol.  But, we found out that some missionaries in the past told him he couldn't get baptized because he was gay.  We told him that wasn't the case and that wouldn't hold him back from being baptized as long as he would follow the law of chastity.  He is a pretty cool guy, he has so many questions and is very chill and open minded.  We invited him to chur...

Hey y'all how's it going?  Hope you all had a great week this week and all is well! This week was a pretty good week of course we have the usual missionary work.  It's super sad the weather has started to get really cold here and I don't really think I'm ready for winter.  I don't like the cold here, it is far too cold but of course I don't have a say in what the weather is like.  Guess there have been some northern light here haven't see them yet but some other Elders have seen them but I hope I do get to see then cause that would be sick. This week we had our interviews with Pres. Callaway.  It was so nice to see them cause for some reason it feels like have haven't seen them for such a long time.  Sister Calaway is honestly the best person ever.  She is so nice and loves to talk with us and hang with us.  We got to go down to Sioux falls for that, which was lit, cause I love that place and we got to have better food that what is in Brookings Wh...

Hey yall hope you all had a good week and general conference weekend This week was very very boring, but we did get to have some more member meals with some members I didn't know that well, so that was really fun and they are super awesome people. Of course we had conference this week and I loved it.  Lots of good talks were given, but I've got to say that my favorites were either Elder Kearons or Brad Wilcox  Idk if I've mentioned this, but last p day we had a little oopsie with our car while we were at a members doing our laundry.  They had an electrician come over and look at something in their house.  After they did their stuff, they left and after a minute or so they came back in and said that they backed up into our car.  Luckily the damage is nothing to crazy just kinda sucks that it had to happen. One thing tha really stood out to me during conference was a quote from Brad Wilcox that said "Don't let the world change you when you were born to change the ...

Hey yall hope you had a great week this week! This week was pretty chill.  We had a few dinners with some members and on Tuesday we had one and they feed us some ribs and they were pretty good.  But honestly, I'm not a huge fan of them and literally ate so much food.  As we left their house, the sister goes "I hope you don't get sick from my cooking tonight" and guess what happend - that same night at like 3 in the morning I threw up. so fun Nothing else to crazy happend this week.  We did a lot of service.  We help this one old lady trim some hedges and we also help a member pick some apples from these massive apple trees she has. HUMP DAYYYYYY!! I am officially halfway through my mission which is mind boggling cause I genuinely feel like I got here like a month ago but now I've got one year left it's crazy how times flies but also feels soooooooo slow but I know that this last year will feel like a blink of an eye and I will be home. One thing that really su...
