I’m a Minnesota Missionary

Hey yall how's is going!

This week was a pretty good week.  To start it off we had exchanges with our district leader who is in Marshall Minnesota so we went up there and it was awesome.   Now I've technically served in Minnesota and in the same state as Nick.  The exchange was fun, we knocked a lot of people and we helped one of their members move out of their house cause they were going to bulldoze the whole thing and rebuild.  They had sooooooooo many cats, like at least 20 I kid you not, it was crazy.

This week we also had an awesome lesson with a guy named Bob who is friends with our friend Carol.  But, we found out that some missionaries in the past told him he couldn't get baptized because he was gay.  We told him that wasn't the case and that wouldn't hold him back from being baptized as long as he would follow the law of chastity.  He is a pretty cool guy, he has so many questions and is very chill and open minded.  We invited him to church this week and he said he would come so that's lit.

The rest of the week was kinda boring nothing real crazy happened.  But, at the time of writing this we had zone conference yesterday and we had to wake up real early in order to make in time.  We did, and it was an awesome spirit filled conference.  We talked a lot about the power of our calling and how we have the authority to be bold about this message cause it's the only true message out there and can and will bring hope, peace, and comfort into a person's life.

After zone conference, while talking to other missionaries, a sister came up to me and said hi to me.  It turns out she was a girl that I went to elementary school with.  Her name is Danielle Madsen.  It was so nice to be able to talk with her after so long and to catch up a little bit.  After we had finish talking with all the other peeps we headed home and I will not lie, I almost fell asleep at the wheel cause I was so tired.  But don't worried we didn't crash cause the car kinda drives itself and I never actually fell asleep

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked. Then when we got back we went over to a recent converts house to help him move some stuff in his nasty garage and when i say this garage was nasty is was NASTY so after that, I just ended the night.
