Racing for Jesus

Hey y'all how's it going?  Hope you all had a great week this week and all is well!

This week was a pretty good week of course we have the usual missionary work.  It's super sad the weather has started to get really cold here and I don't really think I'm ready for winter.  I don't like the cold here, it is far too cold but of course I don't have a say in what the weather is like.  Guess there have been some northern light here haven't see them yet but some other Elders have seen them but I hope I do get to see then cause that would be sick.

This week we had our interviews with Pres. Callaway.  It was so nice to see them cause for some reason it feels like have haven't seen them for such a long time.  Sister Calaway is honestly the best person ever.  She is so nice and loves to talk with us and hang with us.  We got to go down to Sioux falls for that, which was lit, cause I love that place and we got to have better food that what is in Brookings

While we were in a smaller town in our area called White, we drove past this thing that kinda looked like a race track but we didn't stop.  We went and talked to a referal that we had gotten and she said she might be interested and her husband too.  She said we come back back.  We drove back to the race track thing and it turns out that they have these races every week where their kids have a nice little competition to win these races.  This ain't no K1 Speed, these carts were flying so fast and we ended up talked to a guy named Zeke, he was a little drunk and stuff and also not interested, but a super cool guy.

Hype miracle this week!  A Spanish guy that I talked to last week (and used broken spanish with) said we could come back a week later and have a lesson with our ZLs over the phone.  He is the coolest guy.  We started off just standing at his front door, then halfway through our ZLs told us he wanted us to come in and so we did.  Two other of his homies walk out and we start having a lesson with them!  They are super sick and they said we could come back again in a few days and again on Sunday.  These three guys help us to hit our week Key Indicator for new people being taught.

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked. Then when we got back we went over to a recent converts house to help him move some stuff in his nasty garage and when i say this garage was nasty is was NASTY so after that, I just ended the night.
