Hey everyone hope your week was great and fun.   This week was kinda crazy with transfers and stuff so we should have a little bit to talked about hopefully. So this week of course we had transfers and sadly I am leaving my area in Sioux Falls.  I absolutely loved that place.  The members there are awesome, the people I served around were absolutely awesome.  But now I am even further north up in a smaller town called Brookings.  This town is pretty cool because it is basically a collage town for South Dakota State University so there are a lot of collage kids.  But right now they all out of town for memorial day and the end of the semester.  Luckily they have a ward up here but it's pretty small so it kinda feels like a branch but that's ight I'm looking forward to work up here. Hey yall how have you all been?  Hope you all had a good week This week kinda sucked not going to lie. In the beginning it was VERY slow we had like 1 or 2 new friends and maybe 1 member in on a lesson until like Friday.  So motivation was low but we were determined to hit our goals and on Saturday, I think, we were able to find a family of three and a couple more people and we ended up passing our "new people found" goal but we didn't manage to hit our member lesson goal which was sad, but a lot of the members were busy so we did the most we could This week we also did some service for this one member who is from South Africa and has lived here for a while, but he's pretty white wash so he doesn't really have a accent, but you can still kinda hear it.  We helped him take some stuff to the dump and we filled a whole 8ft truck bed with compost and took it back to his house and unloaded it all in a little garden that they were starting.  It was really hot and sunny ...

Sup peeps hope y'all had a great week Also happy late mother's day to my momma and all the of the other amazing women in my life.  I hope you had a good mother day. This week was pretty baller and slow at the same time.  We had some awesome lessons with our friend named Amanda.  She is the lady that has had pretty much everything gone wrong in her life but she is trying really hard to change it. I think it was this week,  we were suppose to have a member in on a lesson with her but when we showed up and the member showed up it turns out that she wasn't there.  Her roommate had told us that she had taken her car and left and she said that she would be back in like ten minute but she had been gone for like and hour and a half.  We felt super bad because the member drove to this ladies house for no reason and it turns out that she had relapsed on alcohol which is sad, but when we went over another time she told us that she is getting treatment and is trying to...

Hey yall! Sorry for the late email I totally spaced it yesterday so now you get it. But this week was pretty good it was a little slow so there isn't really that much to talk about hopefully things will pick up.  So I think I've mentioned the Vargas family before in my emails and they are the one family that I baptized three of their kids when I first got here but after last transfer we hadn't been able to get into a lesson with them and every time we went over to their house they would either stand us up or they would just reschedule then stand us up and this had happened for 2-3 weeks so this was kinda scary because their while family is our entire recent convert pool and I'd we can't get in with them it definitely raises some red flags but on Sunday we had the thought to go to their house one last time before we turned it over to the ward because it was taking too much time out of our day to have to deal with this and when we showed up their whole family was ther...

Hey yall hope you all had a great week this week!! This week was crazy both weather and just other random stuff as well. This week there was a tornado in Omaha so lucky I wasn't too close but the weather was still crazy up here it felt like it had rained for three days non stop and now a bunch of missionaries are helping with clean up. This week we found our that one of the people that we had on date for baptism and was actually looking pretty solid - we were going to have his friend baptize him but we found out that he went to jail and we were thinking that it would only be for a little bit but it turns our that he is locked up for 36 years so safe to say that he won't be getting baptized any time soon But we do have other people on date that are looking very promising. With our friend Daniel he finally got married so we are able to get thing rolling with him so hopefully soon he will get baptized we then have this one lady who moved here from Florida to get out of a bad situa...
