Happy Mothers Day

Sup peeps hope y'all had a great week


Also happy late mother's day to my momma and all the of the other amazing women in my life.  I hope you had a good mother day.


This week was pretty baller and slow at the same time.  We had some awesome lessons with our friend named Amanda.  She is the lady that has had pretty much everything gone wrong in her life but she is trying really hard to change it. I think it was this week,  we were suppose to have a member in on a lesson with her but when we showed up and the member showed up it turns out that she wasn't there.  Her roommate had told us that she had taken her car and left and she said that she would be back in like ten minute but she had been gone for like and hour and a half.  We felt super bad because the member drove to this ladies house for no reason and it turns out that she had relapsed on alcohol which is sad, but when we went over another time she told us that she is getting treatment and is trying to stop drinking and smoking.  She had cleaned her house completely and had kicked out her abusive husband and really wanted to come to church.  But, on Sunday morning she texted us and said that her roommate accidentally took her key and left and that she wouldn't be able to get it back until Monday, so she couldn't come and she was super sad. But, she is progressing really good and she is on date for June 1st so lots of prayers for her.


On Saturday we had some members who had invited us to help them with some service and they asked us to invite the rest of the missionaries in Sioux Falls.  We had all of us over at their house to help them and they had us spread mulch, which sucks and gives me PTSD because my parents made me spread mulch at our house all by myself before my homecoming, so i didn't enjoy it that much.  I still did it because i have to, but it was worth it because they fed us.

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked.
