Hey yall hope you all had a good week! So this week was super fire.  It feel like we're finally getting into the swing of things.  On Tuesday we had a lesson with this lady named Leah who sent us a referral and wanted to meet, so we went over and had a lesson with her.  We were able to teach her about baptism and we were able to set her on date.  She is a super cool lady and she told us that she is originally catholic, but as a native American she said that the nuns and the people at her church on her reservation were super bad to her people so she wants nothing to do with the catholic church.  So that was super hype to be able to help her. On Wednesday we had to take our car to the shop cuz we had a nail in our tire, so we got to wander around the Scheels for like an hour that was right next to the tire shop. Sioux Falls Pt.2

Hey yall hope you all had a good week! This week was pretty chill.  So we had our last p day on Tuesday because of transfers on Wednesday.  But during last p day, while we're were playing basketball, I realized that I had missed a call from President Calaway.  So I called him back and he told me that I was going be training a new missionary for my last transfer.  But the best part of this call is that he told me that I would be going back to Yankton Trail, an area that I had served in like a year and a half ago and I was super happy to be able to go back cuz I was probably one of my favorite areas. Then on Wednesday we had the actual transfer and I got to meet my new missionary.  His name is Elder Utley from South Jordan Utah and he's a big mountain biker.  The whole 3 and half hour drive up to Sioux Falls he was hitting me with rapid fire questions.  It's understandable, he just wants to know.  He's a cool guy and this will be a super chill last ...

Whoops

Hey yall hope you had a good week! So I totally forgot to send a email last week and I almost forgot this week so I'm sending it now just to get it out of the way Last week was alright I guess.  The area is still super hard but we had a lot of fun things happen.  On Tuesday we had exchanges with our zone leaders and those were pretty good.  We were able to meet a lot of members that day.  Then on Thursday we had zone conference and that was fun. President and Sister Calaway did a fun training where we had to wear some thingy in our mouth that made it so we can't close our mouth and we had to try and say things to our table and have them guess it. On Friday we had the 4th of July which was pretty fun, but not a whole lot happened.  We had to work and do our weekly planning for the first half of the day, then we got to have p day for the last half so we just ended up playing some basketball.  I'm not going to lie, zone conference and the 4th were the only thi...

This Area Sucks

Hey yall hope you had good week! So this past week, I'm going to be honest, sucked really bad.  All of the people that we were teaching from the first week, we have had to stop teaching.  So we have nobody as of now to teach so this past week has been filled with nothing but knocking on doors trying to find people.  But we do have a thing going on in our mission right now where we are challenged with visiting every member on our ward before the end of the transfer so that at least give us something to do. This week was also very very hot.  It was the first time this year where it got up to 100 degrees, so that wasn't fun.  We did have interviews with President Calaway this week and that was pretty chill.  He was able to give me my mobile temple recommended so that's hype. All Rich People

Hey yall hope you all had a good week! Since I didn't talk about anything last week I'll talk more.  So we had the start of a new transfer and it was pretty funny cause we only had 1 new Elder come in.  We didn't get to do our normal transfer stuff but he got the whole spotlight on him and when he told everyone where he was going everybody went crazy. But since we had a new transfer I got a new companion and they split my area from the Rockbrook/Lakeview to just Lakeview.  It honestly sucks cause it's all rich people.  My new comps name is Elder Reidhead and he's a super cool guy from Arizona.  He hasn't been out for super long but so far we've been having a good time.  The first Friday we were together we were out doing missionary stuff and we saw a couch on the side of the road in front of this house.  It said "free" so we stuffed it in the back of our car and it barley fit and was hanging halfway out of our car but now we have a couch On the fir...

Surprise Exchanges

Hey yall hope you all had a good week! This week was a pretty good week. We had lots of good lessons with people but finding was still a bit rough. On Tuesday we had a kinda surprise exchange with our ZLs.  So, on Tuesday morning we have a call with all the leadership in our mission to review and talk about numbers and stuff.  The ZLs were making sure I was on the call so I could give my schpeil of the people my district had on date.  But right after they did that they also texted and were like "hey we have exchanges today and we forgot to tell you, but come to our apartment after the call". The exchanges overall were good there was a member from Lincoln Nebraska that came up and took me and Elder Moril to a pizza place and it wad super good. Other than that nothing much happend till Friday.  Becuase it was my comps birthday, we and another set of Elder went to Texas Roadhouse and we made sure that he took a ride on the birthday saddle.  That was fun.  Righ...
