Sioux Falls Pt.2
Hey yall hope you all had a good week!
This week was pretty chill. So we had our last p day on Tuesday because of transfers on Wednesday. But during last p day, while we're were playing basketball, I realized that I had missed a call from President Calaway. So I called him back and he told me that I was going be training a new missionary for my last transfer. But the best part of this call is that he told me that I would be going back to Yankton Trail, an area that I had served in like a year and a half ago and I was super happy to be able to go back cuz I was probably one of my favorite areas.
Then on Wednesday we had the actual transfer and I got to meet my new missionary. His name is Elder Utley from South Jordan Utah and he's a big mountain biker. The whole 3 and half hour drive up to Sioux Falls he was hitting me with rapid fire questions. It's understandable, he just wants to know. He's a cool guy and this will be a super chill last transfer.
So when we had made it up to Sioux Falls, we unpacked and all that jazz. We were being fed that night by the one and only Chuck. He's this super awesome old fella in our ward who loves the missionaries and lives in this old folks home. It was super fun to be able to see him again and thank goodness he remembered me. It was also super fun on Sunday to see a bunch of members that I had worked with that also remembered me.
But the first few hours we were able to work, I did a window contact from our car to this guy. And right as I asked if he wanted to hear a message, bro came up to our car and got super close in my face and basically started cussing out God and such. So we drove and away and told him God loves him and he started to yell super loud as we drove away so that was a pretty fun first experience for the greenie. But over all it's bee a good time to be back in my stomping grounds
That all for this week
Love yall
