Surprise Exchanges

Hey yall hope you all had a good week!

This week was a pretty good week. We had lots of good lessons with people but finding was still a bit rough.

On Tuesday we had a kinda surprise exchange with our ZLs.  So, on Tuesday morning we have a call with all the leadership in our mission to review and talk about numbers and stuff.  The ZLs were making sure I was on the call so I could give my schpeil of the people my district had on date.  But right after they did that they also texted and were like "hey we have exchanges today and we forgot to tell you, but come to our apartment after the call". The exchanges overall were good there was a member from Lincoln Nebraska that came up and took me and Elder Moril to a pizza place and it wad super good.

Other than that nothing much happend till Friday.  Becuase it was my comps birthday, we and another set of Elder went to Texas Roadhouse and we made sure that he took a ride on the birthday saddle.  That was fun.  Right after that we had a lesson with our Haitian friend Viergela and it was such a good lesson.  We taught her the doctrine of baptism and set her on date for the 14th and it was surprising because it turns out her birthday is actually the day after that on the 15th.  So Friday was def the highlight of the week.

Nothing much more happend this week but we do have transfers coming up so we will see what happens.

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked.
