Temple Trip

Hey yall hope you had a great week.

This week was like the longest but also the shortest week ever.  IDK why, but it just feel like that.  We had transfers on Wednesday and both me and my comp are staying, and only one Elder and Sister got moved.  And now it's chill.  District is still fun, zone is fun.

Also on Wednesday for some reason, our members decided to schedule a temple trip for the sister's recent convert Helen, (who we helped baptize) at the exact same time as transfer point.  Sadly the sisters weren't able to make it, but we were able to go and support her.  It was awesome because right as she walked in, Helen said that she felt like she was in heaven.  It was a super awesome experience for her and she was so filled with joy to be able to have her mother baptized. 

Friday was pretty chill. I was able to interview somebody for baptism, and on the way to the church to meet up with the Elders and their person, I swear we were about to get hit with a tornado with how windy it was.  Luckily it was only super windy and rainy.  The interview was fire and that girl was baptized this past Saturday and then we had a nice night of basketball.

The temple was really the only highlight of this week and there wasn't much thst happend since it was short cause of our last pday

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked. Then when we got back we went over to a recent converts house to help him move some stuff in his nasty garage and when i say this garage was nasty is was NASTY so after that, I just ended the night.
