Where Did 2024 Go?

Merry Christmas y'all and Happy New Year!  I'm going to be totally honest I almost forgot about my email but at this point I don't want to break my streak of sending one every week. 

This last week was pretty chill.  Monday was miracle Monday, where it's just a normal work day but it was fun cause we had our branch Christmas party.  It was super fun.  They had us make a balloon arch and try to set it up but it was super floppy.  It took us like an hour just to get it set up. Wednesday of course was Christmas and that was pretty chill nothing really to crazy happened.  We had dinner with the loveless family, they are super cool.

The rest of the week was pretty chill we went on exchanges with Elders up in Madison and that was super fun.  Nothing crazy just doing my duties as a DL.

On New Year's Eve we didn't have a pday but it was a pretty chill day.  The Chessmore family, which are literally the best, had a New Year's party and we went to that for the last two hours of our day before we had to be back into our apartment at 7.

Sadly this week we found out that Ty isn't living the law of chastity, so we have to wait until he can figure out what be wants to do to fix that, but currently his girlfriend is in jail soooooo...  But he is still super hype and the will to work.

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked.
