Drive Drive Drive

Hey yall hope you had a great week!

This week was pretty boring but wasn't too bad.  We were able to hit most of our goals this week which was sick.  And if I'm being honest, it wasn't until I got here that this place had hit any of their goals but I don't want to be prideful.

Anyways on Wednesday we had some really good lessons.  We were able to find our friend Shawn who was interested but we just haven't been able to catch him, and he isn't super great at responding to texts.  But we had a good lesson about priesthood and Joseph Smith.  Then we invited him to church.  Sadly he didn't come, but there is always the next Sunday.  We found and awesome guy named Lucas and at first he wasn't super into it, then in our second lesson we were talking more about the restoration and I asked him how he feels God's love.  He went on and talked about his family and how he had recently had a passing and so we hopped right into the plan of salvation and that really peaked his interest, cause he asked where our church was and what time and so we told him.  But sadly he didn't come.  But again, there is alway the next Sunday. 

Thursday we were in Winner for a member meal with the Williams.  They are the best and always joke around so it makes me feel at home.  Sadly we couldn't catch our friend Ty but we were able to text him and set something up for the next day cause we had exchanges. 

So on Friday, we had exchanges with the Elders in Huron South Dakota and it went pretty well.  Nothing too crazy happened.  Me and Elder Mitchell had a good lesson with Ty about temple and he seemed to really love it.  The best thing, that made me super happy was when we asked if we could say a prayer before we left Ty said "I was waiting for this, this is the best part." So either he was waiting for us to leave or he really feels the spirit whenever we pray with him hopfully it's the second option.

Then on Sunday this week we were in Winner so we had to drive all the way to Winner again for the third time.  It was worth it cause we had a member meal with the Farleys (the branch president) and it was pretty good.  I was kinda skeptical at first when they told us it was fried walleye fish but it was actually really good.

Anyways that what happend this week just a crap ton of driving as always

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked. Then when we got back we went over to a recent converts house to help him move some stuff in his nasty garage and when i say this garage was nasty is was NASTY so after that, I just ended the night.
