Transfers

Hey yall hope you all had a great week!

This week was pretty lit it was probably the best week of work we have had in this area. We were able to hit three of our goals this week which was fire and Ty came to church again and little said the coolest thing.

So this week it was Elders Quorum of course and we had a thin number of Elders there.  But that doesn't matter - Brother Orton (the goat) brought Ty to church again without us having to ask him.  He had a great time at church and stuff.  During Elders Quorum, Brother Orton gave the lesson talking about salt and the talk that Elder José A. Teixeira gave and we were talking and kinda randomly, but not really super random, Ty just says at the end of the lesson "I'm in the right church" like whatttttt!  That was so fire.  It made me so happy.  Brother Orton then took him home and apparently bought him some groceries.  Ty also said to Brother Orton that the church Ty's wife goes to is her church, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is his, so hopefully this next week we are able to set a baptismal goal with him.  Prayers and such appreciated.

Like the title says we had transfers this week and also this email is coming out a bit late because yesterday (Tuesday) I woke up and threw up twice and felt like absolute crap so I didn't feel like writing an email.  It also sucked cause we had to be in Sioux Falls that night for transfer point and I had to work with some Elders for the night.  Funny story, we were visiting one of their recent convert and she likes to talk so we were there for a while.  I could feel myself start to feel a little but nauseous and I was hoping it would pass but sooner or later in my mind I was like "imma about to throw up" so I asked if I could use their bathroom and she told me where it was and walk right on in closed the door and threw up again.  Literally the worst day on my entire mission no lie.

Also because of transfers I have a new comp.  His name is Elder Stephenson.  He's on his second transfer so technically I'm training him and finishing up his last transfer of training which is sick.  He's a pretty cool guy.  Don't know him very well yet, but i can't wait to.  Also I'm now a District Leader so I guess prez trusts me to train and be DL in an area that lowkey sucks.  So, also prayers appreciated for me so I can know what I'm doing.

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked. Then when we got back we went over to a recent converts house to help him move some stuff in his nasty garage and when i say this garage was nasty is was NASTY so after that, I just ended the night.
