"Im Going With That Guy"

Hey yall hope you week was awesome!

This week was kinda boring but we had a member tell us a cool story but that will come later.

On Tuesday day we had district council which it was our first normal one we had this transfer.  It was fun.  But before we went to it, we found out that our district leaders car battery had died so we had to carpool there with them, and afterwards we had to take them to a car store to get some jumper cables to jump their car which was fun.

Most of the days here were nothing to crazy but on Saturday we were in Winner for the day and we had been knocking around.  We went to this one lady's named Jackie to try and get back into contact with her.  Her husband answered and said she was asleep but he was interested and so we taught about the book of mormon.  It turns out he had talked to missionaries before cause he told us he knew what the Book of Mormon is and had read it a tiny bit.  We invited him to read 2 Nephi 31 and to come to church.  He said he didn't have a car (and it is a really far walk cause the church building is kinda on the edge of town).  So we told him that we would get him a ride from a member.  But we also told him we wouldn't be there cause we had to be in Wagner this week.  He said that he has been trying to come and he would definitely come if he has a ride so later we found him a ride.  On Sunday morning we didn't get a call from the member so we assumed everything went well.  But like an hour or two after church we got a call from the member who gave this guy a ride and was like "wanna hear a cool story" and we were like yeah.  He basically told us that when he had knocked on Ty's (the guy that we found) door his wife said that he wasn't there but she gave the member basic directions to find him.  So they went and followed the directions and ended up finding him by a bus stop (which is a gas station here) and they rolled down his window and was like "are you coming to church" and he kinda paused and looked at his friend and said "I'm going with that guy" and just hopped in the members truck and ended up loving both hours of church and later he texted me saying that he had read the chapter we told him to.

This guy is soo sick.  I hope that everything goes well and we are able to help him and his family grow closer to God and Jesus.

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked. Then when we got back we went over to a recent converts house to help him move some stuff in his nasty garage and when i say this garage was nasty is was NASTY so after that, I just ended the night.
