So Much Water

Hey yall!

Hope your week was good! This week was super fun and we got a lot done. We had exchanges with the ZLs this week and they were super fun.  I was with Elder Gertch and he was in my last district and has been my ZL since I got up here to the Sioux Falls zone so he and I are close. We were able to find a lot of cool people and a few cool Spanish people because luckily he is a Spanish Elder.

On our exchange we found this really cool family and at first we thought they were just a normal family that spoke English but after I had tried talking to them they said the spoke Spanish and so Elder Gertch took over and started teaching them. They are super cool and we're very interested and they said that they want their kids to learn more about God and the parents wanna learn Enlish so hopefully this language barrier won't be too much of a problem.

We also set our friend Nathan on date for the 23rd so prayers for him would be appreciated 

The night before our exchange with the ZLs we were at our recent converts house Terry and we were chilling there and as we were about to leave we looked out the window and it was very dark out side.  We didn't really care so we talked for a little longer but then the wind and rain started to pick up and I genuinely thought there was a tornado with all the rain, like I have never seen more water come from the sky then that day but luckily no tornado just a lot of rain and wind.

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked.
