Schools In Sesh

Hey yall back at it with the late emails whoops.

But this week was pretty sick.  This whole town of Brookings, in the span of like two days, has felt like it's turned into a city.  With the amount of people that are now here, because South Dakota State University is now back and there is literally so many people it's kinda bonkers.

But with that bring on a lot of drunk and judgy collage kids but forget it all, at least I know where I'm going after this life... jk jk   It's been pretty chill to talk to people my age but kinda scary just cause I'm only used to talking to old people and people with kids.

This past week I was trying to figure out how I could get on the football field here but I have had no lucky so far but if you guys have suggestions on what I should try lemme know.

Our friend Pedro (that we found the first week of this transfer) is on date date for baptism and he is just the coolest dude ever.  His ex wife was a member and he lived in Logan for a bit.  But since then he kinda abused drugs and alcohol and he is no longer with her.  He is trying to change his life and get baptized.  He truly wants to change.  He works during church and we asked him to try and get it off, so prayers for that cuz he is the coolest dude ever.

Just remember what president Neilson said

"In coming days, it will not be possible to survive spiritually without the guiding, directing, comforting, and constant influence of the Holy Ghost"

The holy ghost is one of the best gifts God has given to us and to live life without it would be no bueno.  So I plead for you to always strive to have him in your presence and don't be afraid to follow the promptings when ever you receive them

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked.
