I'm Comps With Spiderman

Hey yall how was your week I hope It was good!

This week was the first week of the new transfer and I got a new comp his name is Elder Southwick and he is a pretty cool guy although he a pretty quiet fella when he does talk he is super funny but the funniest thing is that he lowkey kinda looks like Toby Mcguire and so when ever we see spider man we always say it him and we always make Spiderman jokes but he really cool I can't wait for this transfer

This next week is going to be the first week of school for South Dakota State University so as this week goes on, and I'm sure more into this next week, more and more people will start showing up here and we will have so many people to talk to and I can't wait to teach some friends my age which will be lit

This week was also baller cause we were able to find so many cool people and hopefully they will want to progress and get baptized but we will have to wait and see

★Spiritual Thought★

I was watching this clip and idk where you can find it but it wad Elder Holland at like a devotional and this lady asked him a question.  She asked "How can we understand the Lords love when he gives us so many trials" and with a lot of people that we deal with as missionaries seem to have this same question and Elder Holland answered it in my opinion perfectly

He said that we need to avoid falling into this trap of "God must not love me if I suffer".  He goes on to talk about how every single prophet and apostle in the Bible and book of mormon suffered and went through trials but he then said "No one suffered more than the Living Son of the Living God, the only perfect child to ever exist. Don't ever please, please, don't ever fall victim to the trap of God must not love me, because what on earth would that say for His love for is only Begotten Son"

This life is the time for us to prepare to meet God to walk blindly with Faith and these trails that we will experience are only temporary but will lead to things that are everlasting and eternal. But just know that GOD LOVES YOU AND SO DO I.

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked. Then when we got back we went over to a recent converts house to help him move some stuff in his nasty garage and when i say this garage was nasty is was NASTY so after that, I just ended the night.
