Hows it going y'all I hope you all had a good week this week!

This week was actually so baller!  Well really since like Friday cuz on Friday we had transfers and I finally am out of Atlantic Iowa, thank goodness.  I hated that place.  Now I am up in Sioux Falls, South Dakota in the Yankton Trails area and holy, it is such a change of pace from Atlantic.

But it was so hype.  Literally on Friday evening we had 2 baptisms lined up and my new comp Elder Dunlop asked me if I wanted to baptize them so I said sure.  We start prepping for the baptisms and we get a call from the mom/grandma of the kids that we were baptizing and said that this girl that they had been teaching was 9 and wanted to be baptized so we just hucked her in to the program at the last minute.  Ended up getting three baptisms the very first day I was here in Sioux Falls so already I love this area so much more that Atlantic.

That's really the craziest thing that happened this week.  We did have this guy show up to church on Sunday and we had no idea who he was and we were kinda confused.  We didn't get a chance to talk to him cuz he kinda booked it before the meeting was over but our bishopric was able to catch him and talk to him.  Turns out he had grown up in the church but never got baptized and never got the opportunity to becuase he had been taken from his family when he was younger and from there lost all contact with the church but now he wants to turn his life around and be baptized which is actually so sick.

Anyways that's all that I can think of that happend while I got here but I can't wait to work and be here in Sioux Falls

3 Nephi 9: 14-15

14 Yea, verily I say unto you, if ye will come unto me ye shall have eternal life. Behold, mine arm of mercy is extended towards you, and whosoever will come, him will I receive; and blessed are those who come unto me.

15 Behold, I am Jesus Christ the Son of God. I created the heavens and the earth, and all things that in them are. I was with the Father from the beginning. I am in the Father, and the Father in me; and in me hath the Father glorified his name

This was a scripture that my comp had shared this week and it really stuck with me becuase the lord is always there reaching out to US but we just need to humble ourselves and come unto him to receive eternal life and baptism is quite lit.

Love yall have a great week
