The Exterminator

Hows it going y'all. I hope you all had a baller week! Thankfully this week went by super fast. Hopefully these last two weeks of the transfer go by fast too.


You might be asking why the title is The Exterminator. Well I can't remember if I said it in my last email but last Sunday while I was sitting at my desk I was looking into the kitchen and I saw something that looked like a little mouse head.  I wasn't sure until I saw it scurry underneath our stove and my comp Elder Paxman thought I was just tripping and seeing things but I know I saw it.  We couldn't really do anything about it since we didn't have any poison or a trap but lucky Terri, (the old lady that we always help and she always feeds us) had some poison that we could use.  So we took it and put it in our apartment and then left to stay the night with our DL in Glenwood since we were spending p day in Council Bluffs.  When we came back we didn't find him anywhere so we thought we got him.  But later on in the week when we came back to the apartment I saw him scurry into our bookcase so I tried to squish him with the box that he was behind but that didn't work.  Then he ran out into our room and we trapped him in there and tried to fish him out.  Eventually we did and we caught him under a pot and I was smacking the crap outta him with a broken broom stick and it eventually killed him, so that was pretty fun.


Tbh that was like the only exciting thing that happend this week.  But, this week was pretty productive for our area so I think that made the week go by.  Sunday was pretty good since it was our branch conference, so we had way more people there than usual and it was pretty hype because one of our recent converts got a calling in the relief society so that will be hype.

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked. Then when we got back we went over to a recent converts house to help him move some stuff in his nasty garage and when i say this garage was nasty is was NASTY so after that, I just ended the night.
