LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!

This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag.

Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked. Then when we got back we went over to a recent converts house to help him move some stuff in his nasty garage and when i say this garage was nasty is was NASTY so after that, I just ended the night.

But on Wednesday nothing really happened beside us meeting this Chuuk lady that we have had a referal for while but we just ended up making contact with,  We ended up teaching her a bit and it turns out that she had lived in Utah for a while and knows a bit about our church and has actually gone to relief society so that was cool.

Thursday we had echanges with our ZLs and im not going to lie i do not like one of them becuase he tries really really hard and i had to go with him for the day but he wasnt as bad as i thought but still not my favorite person. Anyways the exchanges all together were pretty fun and we had a great time in Council Bluffs.

Friday was Zone Conference which was pretty epic.  Zone conference was is always fun because we always go to T-ROAD (Texas Roadhouse) after for dinner with a bunch of missionaries.  It's pretty funny because its always packed and then you just got us and we always get a bunch of looks but yeah thats all that happened on Friday.

Saturday nothing happened, just knocking doors and talking to people.  But on Sunday, I found out that we have a mouse problem.  I found out because I was just chillen at my desk and I looked into our kitchen and saw a tiny little head peak out.  At first I didn't think anyhting of it, but then i saw his little self scurry from under our fridge to under our stove, so we took like and hour trying to find him but we couldn't so we just left since we didn't have any traps or anything.  We went over to Terri's house and she gave us a trap and we also "accidentally" watched the first half of the super bowl and she feed us so that was fun.

"May we each learn to speak and hear His love here, in our hearts and homes, and in our gospel callings, activities, ministering, and service." - Elder Gerrit W. Gong (Love is Spoken Here 2023)

We studied this talk in our Elders quorum meeting this Sunday.  And I actually really like it because it can apply to literally everybody.  He says since we live in a self-centered world everybody wants everything for themselves.  As a missionary we come across all kinds of people but I do my best to speak the love of Christ because even if they don't wanna hear a message or talk to us i know i am planting that seed in their heart.  We all need to do our best no matter what we are going through or what we are doing, we need to speak the pure love of Christ because when we do it helps people build friendships and their faith in Christ.

i love you all i hope you all have a amazing week
