Boring Week

Hey y'all, hope you all had a great new years! Mine was alright.  News Years is honestly such a dumb holiday, but anyway.


On Tuesday we had our interviews with our mission prez.  Those are always fun being able to take with el presidante mono e mono.  TBH that was really the highlight of the week because we did exchanges that day with our district leader and it was super fun.


On Wednesday I don't think anything really crazy happend just the usual missionary stuff - knocking doors no body answering and getting rejected - but I will say this week probably was our most productive week.  We found 4 new people which is pretty good for the Atlantic area.  This town pretty much has a church for every single person it feels like.


Thursday pretty much the same thing as Wednesday just knocking doors and talking people and helping our best friend named Terri.  I will not lie, helping her feels like we are running in circles.  Whenever we help her with this house that she rents out, we go in and move the furniture because the people in the house are Chuuk people and don't understand anything pretty much.  So we do it and one day we will move a dresser into one room then a couple days later we will move it tight back to where it was before.  It's kinda annoying but it's worth it because she feeds us a ton.  I'm not sure if I have mention Chuuk people before, but they are people who come from these islands and one of the islands is called Chuuk and for some reason they all live in Atlantic.  They are super cool people but are honestly the most lazy people they be sleeping all the time.


Anyways on Friday and Saturday we're basically just days of, you guess it knocking doors and talking to people and helping Terri 


Sunday of course we had church and we really didn't do much besides help Terri but after we helped her we went back to her house and she feed us a really good dinner and we got to watch football.


Today sucked big time.  Our zone leaders told us that we needed to stay in Atlantic for p day which sucked be cause there is nothing to do here.  I was mad because they said that we shouldn't drive because of the snow that we were supposed to get, but I didn't start to snow till p day was basically over so we just spent all day in our apartment when we could have been having a party with our DL or zone, but who cares we will just go up there next week.


Some super fun news is we found out who our new mission prez is going to be since our current one leaves in July so that's gonna be epic when we get him hopefully he's not strict.

This man is a beast.  Every talk he has given is absolutely amazing and is absolutely true.  When we face temptation we must do everything in our power that we can do to turn away and turn to our loving Heavenly Father.  When we don't have the strength to do it on our own we need to kneel down and pray to Him and ask for the strength and protection from such temptation.  He even says when you pray, ask for angles to protect you.  I ask that if and when you feel temptation plead to our lord for the strength or the protection you need to stay away from such sin.

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked. Then when we got back we went over to a recent converts house to help him move some stuff in his nasty garage and when i say this garage was nasty is was NASTY so after that, I just ended the night.
