Whole Lotta Service

Hey yall hope everythings goin good


This week we did a lot of service.  We helped this one lady named Terri with leaves at this house that she rents out and there is a ton of leaves but we didn't only do that house we also helped this other family that she knew with leaves, and this house also had so many leaves that's pretty much what we would do for the first half of our days. 


Other than all that service we had our zone conference on Friday and that was super fun.  It was super cool to hear what our APs and our mission president had to say.  There was so many things that stuck with me but it was also so fun to meet everybody that was in the Omaha zones it was supper funny because we had out mission president and his wife playing with a kendama.  It was also super fun to go to Texas road house with a bunch of people and just get to hang with other missionaries.


Today we are in council bluffs for p day and we did a little micro exchange with our zone leaders for the night because we are also here tomorrow for interviews with our mission prez so i cant wait for that.  Also today we had a crazy miracle while we were on exchanges.  When we called this one guy some lady picked up the phone and wasn't the guy at all.  We asked if we could share a quick message and she said she wanted to hear.  This lady wasn't apart of our church or any other church but while we were sharing the message she said that she believed in God and prophets and Joseph Smith and that he was a prophet.  She said she wanted to join our church,  and when she said that me and the zone leader were freaking out.  So we set up a return lesson in person so we could give her a BOM and teach her more but the spirit during this phone call was through the roof!  I could feel the love and the faith that she has for God so that was a crazy little thing that happend


But I know that there are more miracles to come I've loved the mission so far and I can't wait for the rest of it.

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked.
