What Happened

Sup yall hope yall are doing good.

I'm going to be totally honest, I can't remember much of what happened this week but I will try my best to write this email.

Of course this week we had our normal everyday drivin around knocking on some peeps doors and trying our best to find people.  We did "find" this guy named Jose but really we had been texting him for a little bit but when ever we wanted to meet he either wouldn't show or he was busy.  He sent a second referral for himself with his address, so now we know where he live and we were finally able to meet with him.  He's a super good guy,  def has potential but we will see.  Jose referred this lady to us named April she is also a super cool lady but is really struggling in life.  She seems a little interested but we will see what happens this next week.

On Wednesday we also were able to do a bit of service for some older couple in the branch that have a hard time walking around so we went over to their house and raked their yard for them.  We fully filled like 30 ish bags which was crazy I hate raking leaves but being a missionary I have to love it

But  after Wednesday I can't remember of anything that really happened until Sunday.  On Sunday our branch president had all of the young men and their leaders including us Elders sing in sacrament meeting and yikes it definitely could have been better.  After that we didn't really have time to do anything else because we went to Omaha, which is like an hour and a half drive for us, for this thing called "Why I Believe" where any recent converts in out mission can go and share their testimony and their conversion story.  We had our amazing convert named Sherri and wow her testimony is amazing and she is such a great person but going to that pretty much took up the rest of the night

But since it was pretty late at night we stayed at our ZLs apartment with two other sets of Elders and there was definitely some shenanigans and tom-foolery that happend that night.  When it came time to go to bed all six of us (not including our ZLs) went into their room and we all slept on the floor but the ZLs stayed in their beds but there was still some goofin off that was happening and one of the zone leaders didn't like it too much but it was kinda funny.

I'm sure you have all seen we have a new apostle which is epic!  I love his Lil accent. can't wait to hear from him in general conference

D&C 50:24
24 That which is of God is light; and he that receiveth light, and continueth in God, receiveth more light; and that light groweth brighter and brighter until the perfect day

With it being Christmas we need to recognize the light Chirst gives us and we need to take and use that light to light other people's life

Love you all hope you have a good week
