Merry Christmas!!!

I know it's a day late but merry Christmas to you all. I miss you all so much, and i hope your Christmas was good!!


Honestly I feel like I have short term memory loss cuz I can like never remember what happens during the week because it just goes by real fast.


But on Monday we had to suffer and spend p day in Atlantic because we are low on miles on our car and we didn't really have an excuse to go hang out with all the other missionaries in my zone but I guess me buying a guitar kinda made up for that.


Tuesday through Thursday not a whole lot happend just the same old knocking doors and nobody answering but we did help this one lady put a bunch of wood in her basement for her wood burning stove and she says that she doesn't leave her house in the winter 


But on Friday we had our Christmas zone conference and that was super fun the night before we stayed the night at our DLs apartment cause we didn't wanna wake up at like 5 to get there on time.  The zone conference was actually super fun we had a white elephant gift exchange and there were some funny gifts that people got and I ended up getting a weird gnome thing and I think someone took it from me, cause I didn't come home with it, but its no biggie. We also had a bunch of fun little minute to win it games and my team won all three of the games and something really awesome we hit our yearly goal of 500 baptisms this year which I thought was super cool.  We set our goal to be 600 this next year and I definitely think we can hit that because we had like 50 baptism that happend after that zone conference so in reality we hit like 570 baptisms this year.  After zone conference we do our little tradition of going to T-Road (Texas roadhouse) with a bunch of people so that is always a good time.


Saturday nothing really happend but then Sunday & Monday of course we had Christmas eve and Christmas.  We got a half p day on Christmas eve and a full play on Christmas day and another half p day after that, so two whole days off which was really nice.  On Christmas eve we went over to a members house and "accidentally" watched football and had dinner with them but then on Christmas day we went back over to their house and "accidentally" watched football again and had like a early dinner which was actually really good.  After that we left to go eat dinner at a non members house who we had been teaching and that food was pretty good too and they ended up sending us home with soo much food that we probably won't be able to eat it all.


But after all those dinners we went down to Glenwood which is another small town in Iowa where our DL lives and spent the night there with two other missionaries.  So we had six missionaries all in one apartment and of course there was some shenanigans that happend but we ended up pulling two mattress our into the living room and we all slept out there which was fun and kinda sucked because we didn't fall asleep till like 2 in the morning.


That's all that happend this week.  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and don't forget the true meaning of Christmas.  It's always fun to get and give gifts but don't forget the greatest gift that was ever given is the life of our Savior, Jesus Christ who willingly died for us so we can be saved form eternal death.

Getting Eaten Alive

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked. Then when we got back we went over to a recent converts house to help him move some stuff in his nasty garage and when i say this garage was nasty is was NASTY so after that, I just ended the night.
