It's Christmas Time

Howdy yall!!

This week feels like we were barely even in Atlantic.  Monday we went down to Council Bluffs again and spent the day up there and then did a mini exchange that night with our DL.  On Tuesday we were still in Council Bluffs and had a full exchange with the DL.  There were a lot of shenanigans that happened such as snow ball fights and pretty much having a water fight in the DLs apartment.  After we left I felt bad because we soaked their whole bathroom in water but it was fun.  Even though we soaked his apartment, my DL gave me one of his ukeleles which was super nice and that gives me something to do.

Wednesday was just a normal old day knocking houses and talking to people, but on Thursday we had this meeting at the mission prez house called trainer trainee where all the new missionaries that came out on the transfer that I came went to their house and we talked about driving and questions that we had, but now I'm able to drive so that's epic

Friday was also just a normal old day with lessons and people we talk to but on Saturday we did a ton of service for our lady named Terri.  I love to help her because she is super nice and always takes us to breakfast or lunch or gives us food so it's always fun to be with her.  Also on Saturday there was a big parade that had fireworks and a bunch of floats that was on the street that was right in front of our apartment, so we could look out our window and see the fireworks and the parade so that was cool

On Sunday of course we had church and after we did our normal thing of knocking houses but of course no body wants to answer.  So the first half of the day was slow but after dinner it went by fast because we had dinner with our branch mission leader.  Afterwards we went to our branch presidents house to watch the first presidency Christmas devotional which was a super good devotional all about Christmas and the birth of Christ.

Now today we have a district p day so we get to got to council bluffs again for like the 5th time in a row but I'm not complaining because it's always fun to hang out with thr other missionaries and to be in a city that actually has stuff to do.

John 3

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

With it being Christmas time we need to remember the most precious gift that God has given us and the was the gift of eternal life through the sacrifice of his only begotten and beloved son Jesus Christ

God loves you.
I love you.
