I Made It To Nebraska

Hey guys hope you all are doing well! On Thursday we had to checkout of the MTC and it was so sad to say goodbye to all my friends in our district while we were on the train to the airport i was lowkey freaking out because this was game time but thankfully I made it to Nebraska on Thursday and when we got here we met the mission president and we drove to their house and they fed us food that was ten time better than the MTC food so everyone was super happy for that after we had dinner all the new missionaries introduced themselves but after dinner they took us to a hotel to sleep for the night when we woke up the next morning they took us to the mission office and there they told us what area we are in and who our trainer is.


My first area that I get to serve in is a little town in Iowa called Atlantic. I won't lie coming from Salt Lake this little town is like a ghost town but the apartment is lit and I guess that it's the only one in the mission that has wifi and washer and dryer in our room. 


These first couple days lowkey sucked we barely talked to anyone and we had like 3 lessons out of like 8 and literally nobody answers their door. But other than that it's been fun. On my very first day the branch president asked me if I could speak on Sunday so I only had like 2 days to write this talk so I had to do that on Sunday and it was super weird because the branch here only has like less than 20 people that show up so that was weird since I come from a ward with tons of people.


But it's really nice since today we get an all day p day because it's Halloween and so me and my comp and staying the night in council bluff with some other Elder because we have district council tomorrow.


I'm hyped to be out here doing the lords work

Hey yall! Hopw you had a good week and a good 4th.  This week was pretty good. This week was transfer week so things were a little crazy but me and my comp are both staying here in Brookings which is lit, but nothing really to crazy happend with transfers sooooo. But of course we had the 4th of July this week and sadly, cuz this ward is a little wack, no one invited us over for a party or fireworks so we were on our own.  We went to Walmart and bought a cheap charcoal grill and we whipped up some mash potatoes and some steaks. But after that we tried to go and played Frisbee golf and as soon as we started playing the first hole we were getting swarmed by like 40-50+ mosquitos.   Because of that, the second we finished the first hole we booked it back to our car and left and went bowling. Yo Soy Muy Guapo I Guess...

Hey yall hope you had a great week! So this week was the last week of the transfer and I was really hoping that I was going to leave.  But unfortunately, I am staying for a 4th transfer here in Brookings.  Now I'm not upset that I get to stay here, I mean I love it here.  But it's only fun as a missionary for like 4 and a half months and then it gets boring.  But I'm excited as well.  We have some awseome people we are teaching who have a lot of potential. This week we had a lesson with our friend Lowless and he is a super cool guy.  He is from Papua New Guinea and he is a such a cool guy.  He is very introverted and very soft spoken so it was kinda hard for him to talk to the members, but he will get more comfortable as he comes more.  But the craziest thing is that he has only been in the US for three weeks.  He is here with some program where he comes to SDSU for school, but hopefully we will be able to set him on date for baptism. LEETS GOO CHEIFS

How's it going peeps?  I hope y'alls weeks was great!!!   This week was baller we had zone conference so that was swag. Tuesday was just a regular normal day just knocking doors and trying to find some people to teach. Since our area is super big we cover many small little towns and we recently got a referal for this lady next to this one small town called Cumberland. So on this day we decided to go down there to see if we could talk to a few people but it really sucked since literally nobody was home and the lady that we had the referral for said that she didn't want to meet with us yet since she has like issues with her husband so she didn't want us to come over. So the whole like 25-30 minute drive to this small town was all for nothing, so that sucked. Then when we got back we went over to a recent converts house to help him move some stuff in his nasty garage and when i say this garage was nasty is was NASTY so after that, I just ended the night.
